"In all ways, the MC and DJ were superb. We consider their professionalism top notch and they made our wedding run smoothly, and lots of fun. The venue staff said ours was the most fun of any wedding they've had".
- Megan and John
"Our MC was friendly, competent and very flexible. He and his assistant showed up early, set up their equipment and even managed to find a song I requested in time for the event. He didn't try to "steal the show" but rather worked with the auctioneer and parents to make our event the best it could be. Several parents have told me that our DJ was awesome! Thanks!"
- Carolyn
"It was a great experience. Our DJ was very courteous and did an excellent job of not only keeping guests out on the dance floor, but also helped us with event flow. He brought his prior experience to bear which was a tremendous help. He was far and above the best of any DJs we have seen in the past. It was so nice having him there."

Tips for Hiring Your Wedding DJ
Congratulations on your engagement! What's next? There are so many aspects of planning your perfect wedding. To get started, let me present you with two interesting facts. After the wedding, "72% of brides say that they wish they would have spent more time choosing their entertainment". Secondly, after the wedding, "81% of guests say the thing they remember most about the wedding was the entertainment". Unfortunately, the wedding entertainment is often one of the last vendors booked by a couple. Frequently the choice is made too quickly with the top concern being the dwindling budget that has already been overspent on other less important vendors. The longer you wait, the less choice in entertainment you have. The best disc jockeys often book up earliest, sometimes a year or more in advance, and as with most other services, you get what you pay for.
When it comes to choosing a disc jockey, keep a few things in mind:
- Make sure they run a reputable business that will still be there
when your wedding date arrives.
- Meet them at their office; even a home office is fine. Don't fall
for the "let's meet at a coffee shop" trick. If they don't have an office, home or otherwise, then they're most likely not a legitimate business.
Taking money under the table only means they won't be around for your wedding when the IRS comes to check up on their business.
- Make sure they have several different types of DJs - so they can
match you with one that's a good fit for your style. You wouldn't buy a wedding dress from a shop that only has one dress on the rack - don't make the same mistake having a solo one size fits all DJ either.
- The DJs who consistently do the best job for their clients are
recognized by their communities as well. Check their awards to see if they stand above the rest.
- Always be sure that the DJ service employs a reserve DJ and system,
standing by in case the unthinkable happens. Don't settle for the "we have back-up equipment" ploy. That won't help you if the DJ is suddenly sick or in a car accident on the way to your reception. Only trust a company that has a true fail-safe solution for emergencies - a back up DJ.
Your entertainment choice is an important one. Your disc jockey is linked to the success of the overall event. If your dress tears, you will still look beautiful. If your cake is the wrong flavor, your guests will forget. If your entertainment is a bust, your family and friends will be talking about it for years to come.
