Sophia Marie is a NW native and grew up in Ashland, OR. She is a self taught artist and has been painting on faces and canvas for over 7 years. She moved back to the NW from San Francisco during the snow storm of '08 and currently works at festivals, parties, and events all over the Seattle area.

Sophia specializes in adult face and body painting, while making frequent appearances at children's parties of all ages; and has been hired for everything from sporting events to bachelorette parties. She has a keen sense of style and individualizes every painting to suit the wearer. No posters telling you what to pick, Sophia encourages all of her customers (especially children!) to express themselves as much as possible, by picking whatever their heart desires. It is a constant challenge to keep up with all the new ideas her clients have, and it is a wonderful learning process!

Each day she learns how to paint something new, and often surprises herself and her customers with her innate ability to spontaneously  create and improvise.
